The AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear is specifically designed to handle load current and short-circuit currently breaking efficiently. It provides a stable and reliable power supply while to a lesser extent power outages and electric faults.

2. Dual-Mode Operation
This switchgear integrates a spring-operated mechanism, allowing both manual and electric operation. This dual-mode functionality enhances flexibility in various power system applications.

3. Integrated Earthing and Isolation Mechanism
The AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear includes a manual-operated earth switch and isolation knife switch, ensuring safe operation during maintenance and fault conditions.

4. Compact and Space-Saving Design
Unlike traditional switchgear, the AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear offers a small footprint, making it suitable for urban power distribution where space is limited.

5. Enhanced Safety Mechanisms
Equipment with a robust five-point safety protection system, the switchgear prevents improper operation, ensuring personnel and equipment safety.

Operating Conditions

The AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear is designed to function under various environmental conditions, ensuring durability and reliability:
– Ambient temperature: -15°C to 40°C
– Altitude: ≤ 1000m
– Humidity:
– Daily average ≤ 95%
– Monthly average ≤ 90%
– Seismic resistance: Up to 8-degree intensity
– No exposure to corrosive or flammable gases

For special environmental requirements, customization options are available upon request.

Pre-Operation Inspection

Before energizing the AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear, a thorough inspection is necessary to ensure optimal performance:
– Check the electrical performance and insulation levels.
– Verify the correct wiring and connection of all components.
– Confirm the integrity of the switchgear before putting it into operation.

Normal Operating Conditions

During normal operation, the AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear follows strict safety protocols:
– The load switch should remain closed.
– The earthing switch should be in the disconnected position.
– The switchgear enclosure should remain securely locked to prevent unauthorized access.

Fault Handling and Maintenance

In case of faults, a structured troubleshooting procedure should be followed:
1. For incoming cabinet faults:
– Disconnect the power supply before maintenance.
– Verify the de-energized status with an indicator before grounding.
– Engage the earth switch before opening the cabinet for repair.

2. For outgoing cabinet faults:
– Open the load switch before operating the earth switch.
– Once the earth switch is engaged, the cabinet can be safely accessible for maintenance.

Periodic Maintenance Guidelines

To ensure long-term reliability, the AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear requires scheduled maintenance:
– Every 5 years: Inspect insulation levels and electrical performance.
– After 100 switching operations: Check circuit resistance, moving/static contacts, and auxiliary contacts.
– General maintenance: Should be conducted only after power shutdown to ensure safety.

The AC Metal Ring Network Switchgear is a highly reliable and efficient power distribution solution designed for urban power networks. With its compact design, flexible operation modes, advanced safety features, and strong fault-handling capability, it enhances the stability and efficiency of power systems.
