Designed for 380V/660V three-phase AC asynchronous motors, this industrial soft start cabinet is exclusively applicable to non-explosive underground mining environments, including gas-free and coal dust-free coal mines and various non-coal mine underground production sites.
Engineered to solve common mining operation pain points such as motor startup impact, mechanical wear, and unstable power system operation, the low voltage soft starter delivers smooth motor acceleration and deceleration. It effectively reduces electrical and mechanical shocks, extends mining equipment service life, cuts down daily maintenance costs, and ensures stable and safe operation of underground conveyor belts, water pumps, ventilation systems and other core mining machinery.
1.Wide Voltage & Complete Current Specifications:
Supports dual rated voltage of 380V and 660V with 7 optional current levels (100A/160A/200A/250A/315A/400A/500A), fully matching different power mining motor equipment.
2.Adjustable Overload Protection:
Features a maximum 4-times adjustable overload current multiple, allowing flexible parameter fine-tuning to adapt to diverse mining working conditions and avoid equipment damage caused by current overload.
3.Frequent Start-Stop Resistance:
Comes with a 10 times/h stable operation frequency, supporting frequent motor start and stop without performance attenuation, meeting high-frequency operation demands of continuous mining production.
4.Low-Maintenance Air Cooling System:
Adopts natural air convection cooling mode, eliminating the need for auxiliary cooling accessories. It features low failure rate, simple daily maintenance, and reliable heat dissipation in enclosed underground narrow spaces.

Electrical clearance and creepage distance
The electrical gap and creepage distance between exposed charged conductors of different polarities in the starter cabinet and between them and the casing should not be less than the provisions in Table 1.

Insulation resistor

| Data after humidity and heat test should be used as the basis for judging whether it is qualified or not. Data at room temperature can be used as factory Inspection data shall not be used as the basis for passing judgment during type test. |

Leakage lock protection
The soft starter cabinet should have leakage lock protection performance. When the insulation resistance of the main circuit to the ground drops to the operating value specified in Table 15, the leakage lock of the main circuit should be realized. When the insulation resistance of the main circuit to the ground rises to 1.5 times the operation value, the leakage lock of the main circuit should be lifted.
