Built-in bypass soft starter 450 500 600kW

This built-in bypass soft starter is designed for 3-phase AC squirrel-cage induction motors with rated power of 450kW, 500kW and 600kW. It integrates thyristor power module and bypass contactor inside one unit. After motor completes soft start, the built-in contactor closes to short thyristors, so the motor runs directly through contactor, which greatly cuts heat generation and power loss of the soft starter.
Compared with external bypass soft starters, it saves cabinet space, simplifies wiring and on-site commissioning, reduces the total cost of the whole control cabinet. It realizes stepless voltage ramp soft start and soft stop, effectively limits motor starting current, avoids voltage drop impact on power grid, protects mechanical equipment from starting shock.
