The 860S series 45–75kW high-power vector frequency converter drive unit is designed for heavy-duty industrial transmission. It features a reinforced heat dissipation structure for the high-power IGBT power circuit and utilizes a new generation of current vector control algorithms to achieve stable output under heavy loads and low speeds with high torque. It supports a wide range of expansion modules to adapt to heavy-duty automation systems. The equipment integrates multi-mode frequency synthesis, intelligent PID process closed-loop, 16-segment segmented program operation, and frequency tracking functions. It is optimized for overload and voltage fluctuation resistance in applications such as fans, pumps, mining conveyors, heavy machine tools, and heavy-duty chemical equipment. The entire unit features standardized RS485 Modbus communication, and the braking unit uses an external independent chopper solution. A high-power braking resistor can be selected based on the braking frequency to adapt to heavy loads with high inertia and frequent deceleration.
1. Heavy-duty reliable protection design
The system features multi-level protection against three-phase input/output phase loss, motor short circuit upon power-on, bus over/under voltage, module over-temperature, and output overload. It can be configured with two levels of resonance to avoid frequency hopping, and automatically suppresses bus overvoltage and overcurrent under heavy load stall, preventing frequent tripping and shutdown. The power unit has an independent air duct for heat dissipation, significantly improving its tolerance to dust and high-temperature environments.
2. High-power, high-performance drive
Open-loop vector 0.25Hz output 150% starting torque, closed-loop torque control accuracy ±3%; real-time slip compensation ensures constant speed under heavy load; instantaneous power failure operation maintenance function adapts to continuous production lines; 150% rated current continuous overload output for 1 minute meets heavy load starting impact conditions; AVR automatic voltage regulation stabilizes output voltage when the power grid fluctuates.
3. Diversified process control functions
Ten sets of main/auxiliary frequency sources can be freely combined and switched; the high-speed pulse port supports 0–100kHz signal transmission and reception; the built-in simple programmable controller can run in multiple speed cycles to adapt to production line processes; the oscillation frequency, meter counting, and constant pressure PID closed loop can be directly used in wire drawing, water supply, and extrusion equipment; the digital tube panel can be customized to display multiple types of operating data.
4. Expansion and Terminal Configuration
The device features multi-channel isolated digital I/O, dual-channel analog input/output, high-speed pulse feedback port, and relay alarm output; optional isolation communication card, multi-channel I/O expansion card, and multi-type PG encoder acquisition card, compatible with differential, collector, UVW, and resolver encoders; RS485 standard interface supports multi-unit network remote monitoring and debugging.
