The 860S 250–400kW heavy-duty current vector frequency converter driver adopts a high-power, layered heat dissipation, floor-standing sheet metal structure. Developed for high-load, high-inertia equipment in metallurgy, mining, and large-scale chemical industries, it features an upgraded high-power DSP vector main control chip, resulting in significantly improved torque response and steady-state control performance. The entire unit integrates complete process control functions: multi-speed PLC automatic operation, oscillating frequency speed regulation, fixed-length counting, multi-machine synchronous PID closed-loop control, and supports master-slave load distribution among multiple frequency converters. The equipment comes standard with RS485 Modbus communication, and the braking scheme uses an external high-power independent braking chopper unit, suitable for heavy-duty deployment and high-speed emergency stop conditions. Multiple expansion slots in the chassis are compatible with full-specification encoders, industrial buses, and multi-channel IO expansion modules, adapting to the integration of large-scale complete electrical control systems.
1. High-power heat dissipation and reliable protection
The dual-layer independent airflow cooling architecture significantly increases the heat dissipation area of high-power IGBT modules, ensuring controllable temperature rise during long-term full-load operation; the whole-system fault monitoring system provides multi-level early warning protection against motor short circuits, three-phase phase loss, bus over/under voltage, module over-temperature, and output overload; the two-stage frequency hopping function suppresses heavy mechanical resonance, and the automatic current limiting and voltage suppression during heavy-load deceleration prevents frequent tripping and shutdown under high-power conditions.
2. Vector control for ultra-heavy loads
Sensorless SVC outputs 150% of rated starting torque at 0.25Hz; closed-loop FVC speed stabilization accuracy is ±0.02%; torque control error is ≤±3%; dynamic slip compensation offsets speed deviation under heavy load; instantaneous power failure and short-term power-on algorithm ensure continuous production line operation without interruption; 150% rated current for 60 seconds of continuous overload output, perfectly adaptable to the starting impact load of heavy equipment.
3. Integrated automated process control
It features 10 sets of main frequency inputs and 10 sets of auxiliary fine-tuning sources that can be freely combined and switched; a high-speed pulse port with up to 100kHz signal transmission and reception; a built-in simple programmable unit; 16-speed automatic cyclic operation; and the ability to complete the entire process without an external PLC. It also features oscillation frequency, constant tension, and constant pressure PID closed-loop control suitable for thin films, cables, and large textile equipment. A 5-digit digital tube panel allows for customized display of all dimensions of operating data, including voltage, current, torque, and speed.
4. Expansion capabilities for large-scale complete systems
Multi-channel isolated DI/DO, dual 0–10V/0–20mA analog input channels, high-speed pulse acquisition output, multiple sets of high-power relay alarm contacts; compatible with all types of encoders including differential, open collection, UVW, and rotary transformer; optional Profibus, CANopen and other industrial bus expansion cards, supporting centralized remote control of dozens of frequency converters in a network.
