The 860S 160–220kW high-power industrial-grade current vector frequency converter features a floor-standing, integrated sheet metal chassis, specifically designed for heavy-duty complete electrical control cabinets and large transmission systems. It incorporates a high-power dedicated vector control scheme, balancing low-speed, high-torque, high-precision speed regulation with long-term heavy-load operation. It retains all standard functions of the series: built-in simple PLC, multi-speed automatic operation, frequency swing, meter counting, and intelligent PID closed-loop control, while adding multi-machine synchronization and load balancing control logic. The equipment comes standard with an RS485 Modbus communication interface; braking requires an external high-power independent braking unit, suitable for heavy-duty lifting and high-inertia high-speed stopping scenarios. The chassis has multiple expansion slots, allowing for the installation of isolated communication, multi-channel I/O, and all types of PG encoder expansion cards, suitable for metallurgical, mining, and large-scale chemical complete sets of equipment.
1. Reliable protection against heavy loads
The entire power circuit features multiple protections against short circuits, phase loss, over-temperature, overload, and abnormal bus voltage; it can be customized with two levels of resonance to avoid frequency hopping; it automatically limits current and suppresses voltage during heavy load deceleration to prevent frequent failures and shutdowns under high power conditions; and it features layered independent air ducts for heat dissipation, ensuring controllable temperature rise of high-power modules during continuous operation.
2. Ultra-high precision vector drive
Sensorless SVC outputs 150% starting torque at 0.25Hz; closed-loop FVC maintains speed accuracy of ±0.02% and torque control error of ±3%; real-time dynamic slip compensation minimizes speed fluctuations under heavy loads; short-term backup during instantaneous power outages ensures continuous production without interruption; 150% rated current provides overload output for 60 seconds to handle the starting impact of heavy equipment.
3. Integrated control logic for the entire process
It features 10 main frequency sources and 10 auxiliary fine-tuning sources that can be freely switched and combined, with a high-speed pulse port capable of transmitting and receiving at up to 100kHz; a built-in 16-speed automatic program that completes process cycles without the need for an external PLC; oscillating frequency, fixed-length cutting, and constant pressure/constant tension PID closed-loop control adaptable to various continuous processing production lines; and a 5-digit digital tube for customizable display of operating parameters such as voltage, current, torque, and speed.
4. Complete system expansion and compatibility
Multi-channel isolated DI/DO, dual-channel analog input/output, high-speed pulse feedback, and multiple sets of relay alarm outputs; supports acquisition of all types of encoders including differential, open-collector, UVW, and resolver; optional industrial bus communication expansion cards are available to support centralized monitoring and remote parameter modification of multiple frequency converters in a network.
