The 860S series 18.5–22kW medium-power current vector driver is equipped with a high-performance vector computing chip, relying on mature closed-loop/open-loop vector algorithms to achieve high-precision motor torque control. The entire unit has reserved expansion slots for various types of cards and is compatible with mainstream industrial fieldbus protocols. The device integrates multi-frequency superposition and switching logic with optimized PID closed-loop control. It has a built-in simple programmable logic unit supporting 16-segment multi-speed automatic operation, along with dedicated functions such as frequency swing, speed tracking, and fixed-point/fixed-length counting. While enhancing the overall operational stability and adaptability to complex working conditions, it optimizes human-machine interaction logic and industry-specific control solutions, making it suitable for mid-to-high-end automated production lines in small and medium-sized cranes, textile printing and dyeing, printing and packaging, metal processing, and CNC equipment. Models in this power range come standard with an RS485 Modbus communication interface, and all models have a built-in integrated braking chopper unit, requiring only an external braking resistor to achieve rapid energy dissipation braking, suitable for frequent start-stop and potential energy discharge load scenarios.
1. Stable operation and protection system
It integrates multiple hardware protections against overvoltage, overcurrent, overload, overtemperature, phase loss, and motor short circuit; it supports two-level jump frequency settings to accurately avoid vibration and abnormal noise caused by mechanical resonance; and it allows customization of overvoltage and overspeed protection thresholds, significantly reducing downtime due to deceleration and heavy load conditions.
2. High-performance driving capability
Built-in automatic torque boosting logic, outputting 150% of rated torque at a low frequency of 0.5Hz; slip compensation algorithm optimizes speed control accuracy; short-term power outage resume function ensures equipment continues to operate even during momentary power failure; low carrier noise optimized design reduces motor vibration; capable of continuous 150% rated torque output for 60 seconds during short-term overload.
3. Multifunctional control logic
It supports pulse-based speed regulation and main/auxiliary frequency addition/subtraction synthesis, with a maximum pulse input/output of 100kHz; it can freely switch between 10 types of frequency sources, including panel, analog, communication, multi-speed, PID, and simple PLC, and the auxiliary frequency source supports fine-tuning; the 5-digit LED display on the machine body can be customized to display operating parameters such as voltage, current, speed, and output frequency; it comes with swing frequency, counting, and fixed-length cutting process functions, and can complete basic automation processes without the need for an external PLC.
4. Terminal and Communication Configuration
Digital inputs support two-wire/three-wire start/stop, external fault detection, speed adjustment, pulse acquisition, and automatic program execution; digital outputs can provide feedback on arrival frequency, torque over-limit, overload warning, and count completion signals; dual analog inputs (0–10V/0–20mA), multiple relays, and open collector pulse output; natively equipped with isolated RS485, supporting centralized network control, and expandable with IO, PG encoders, and industrial bus communication expansion cards.
